The successful individual will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels by managing the recruitment, training, deployment, and welfare of crew members. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervising the crewing activities related to new ships entering management or ships leaving management and ensuring the proper communication with the customers Manage crew rotations, scheduling, and deployment to vessels according to operational requirements
  • Monitor crew performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure adherence to company standards and policies
  • Coordinate and oversee crew training programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Identify training needs and organize relevant training sessions for crew members to enhance their skills and competencies
  • Address crew concerns and facilitate communication between crew members and management to maintain a positive working environment onboard
  • Representing the Crewing Department in the Company’s Emergency Response Team and being conversant with assigned duties in case of an emergency
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, crewing practices, and industry standards.
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or the equivalent in Maritime Studies, Business Administration
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate multicultural teams
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
