On behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding company operating within the fintech and electronic payments sector, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Data Analyst to join their growing team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will play an integral role in leveraging data to support business decisions, improve performance, and enhance strategic initiatives. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large data sets, transforming them into actionable insights that inform business strategies. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional departments, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and data-driven organization.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, clean, and organize large data sets from multiple internal and external sources.

Perform statistical analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and correlations.

Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

Partner with internal teams across marketing, finance, operations, and IT to align data-driven initiatives.

Provide actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance and confidentiality policies.

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and analytical efficiency.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.

A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. Certified Data Analyst) will be considered an advantage.

Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Solid experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle).

Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.

Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
