Our client, a well-established retail company, is currently seeking a District Manager in Nicosia. The District Manager is responsible for empowering the Store Managers to have staff and store ready to increase sales and securing that the customers first choice based on lead by Retail Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organisation committed to delivering exceptional retail experiences and driving sales performance. The successful candidate wilL be responsible and lead the teams of 8–10 stores across the wider Cyprus region. Every week will be different; you’ll make scheduled visits to stores in your assigned region, and your schedule will be flexible.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- You will be responsible for maintaining a positive brand image for your stores and ensuring that store employees are 100% ready to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You achieve this through clear communication, effective leadership (in line with Company's Values regarding Leadership), and by guiding your teams.
- You ensure that the Store Managers in your stores have a clear plan for their team and store, know their goals, and do their best to achieve them
- You follow up and ensure that processes and the concept are implemented in all stores
- You train your Store Managers in recruitment, performance management, and leadership so they have everything they need to achieve their goals
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience in managing, motivating, and leading a team. You are a motivated individual who enjoys achieving results.
- You can demonstrate the ability to identify and develop talent within your teams
- You always strive to improve your results, and you view difficulties not as obstacles but as challenges
- Your daily life is fast-paced and constantly changing. You are, however, able to plan and set priorities with ease
- You like to take the initiative and are strong at problem-solving
- You inspire and communicate effectively, helping to create a very positive work environment in the stores
- You know how to handle challenges and get the job done: you have a positive mindset, stay calm, and can provide guidance even under pressure
- You are very flexible regarding both your work schedule and travel
- You are fluent both in Greek and English and hold a driver’s license
