An established Island-wide public utility company is looking for an experience electrical technician in Larnaca to join their organisation permanently to keep Cyprus’ vital water supply running. The company is well-organised and has on-site free training for the successful candidate. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance of Low Voltage electronic equipment and electrical instruments.

Installing and configuring of new electrical and instrument equipment.

Reading and interpreting electric diagrams and equipment manuals and following instructions for fault-finding and repairs.

You will be part of the Electrical Maintenance Team reporting back and performing duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Electrical and Instrument Engineer Supervisors.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Electrical/ Electronics.

Experience working in related industrial environments, preferably in production/process or chemical industries.

Practical/Manual skills.
-
Be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of different skillsets and co-ordinate as required.

Possess the ability to take initiative under specific circumstances.

English (spoken and written) is essential.
-
Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a 24/7 operating plant.

ETEK and EMS license holders will be preferred.
