On behalf of our client, an opportunity has arisen to work within a business travel environment with an emphasis on business account sales in their offices based in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, the Finance and HR Executive will be instrumental in managing both financial and operational tasks. A strong understanding in bookkeeping and accounting principles is essential, as is a solid understanding of local VAT regulations to effectively manage purchase and sales invoice processing. The role includes coordinating with the company’s outsourced HR service provider for smooth payroll processing and being the main point of contact between the employees and the service provider, especially during the Iqama process. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Transaction Recording: Accurately recording financial transactions, which includes producing invoices, posting supplier invoices, bank transactions and payroll. Compliance with local VAT regulations is important.

Reconciliation of Accounts: Regularly reconciling bank statements against the company’s ledger and ensuring that all transactions are accounted for correctly.

Processing Payments and Invoices: Handling the processing of incoming and outgoing payments and ensuring that invoices are sent out and paid on time.

Expense Management: Keeping track of all business expenses and ensuring that they are accurately and appropriately categorised and recorded.

Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining orderly financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements, such as retaining records for the required period.

Banking Relationship: Act as the main point of contact for local banking relations, ensuring a positive banking experience.

HR and Payroll Coordination: Facilitate effective coordination with outsourced HR services, particularly in payroll processing and Iqama-related procedures for employees.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills.

MUST have valid working permit and be living in Saudi Arabia

Good knowledge of local VAT regulations and the ability to apply this knowledge in day-to-day financial tasks.

Fluency in English and Arabic is advantageous.

Excellent organisational abilities, including time management and multitasking.

Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with various stakeholders
