On behalf of our client in energy commodities industry, GRS are looking for a Finance Assistant who has previous experience working as an Accountant for their Limassol based team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working on accounts, bookkeeping, bank recs and budgeting etc. This is not a Managerial position – ACCA/ACA is not a prerequisite, and all relevant applicants are welcome!
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll and bonus calculations
  • Vat knowledge will be a plus
  • Treasury (invoices, payments, cash flow management, trade finance)
  • Monthly Management Accounts
  • Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
  • Weekly reporting assistance to the CFO
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ad hoc reports requested by the CFO
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Previous solid accounting / finance experience is required
  • ACA/ACCA qualification is not a prerequisite
  • Good knowledge of Excel is a must
  • Systems: familiarity with E-soft system will be an advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work under pressure, ability to work independently and ability to analyse/solve problems
