An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join a global Accounting & Advisory firm in Malta. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data with the collaboration of cross functional teams. The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role and hold a diploma in accounting. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Record financial transactions and ensure accuracy of records.

Updating bank accounts and prepare supplier payments.

Liaising with banks and other third parties as may be required.

Perform Debtor and Creditor Reconciliations.
-
Posting of invoices.
-
Assist team in preparing monthly bank reconciliations, if required.
-
Analyze and address any accounting issues.
-
Propose improvements to enhance accounting workflows.
-
Issuing reports and managing queries from company personnel
-
Support the day to day running of the finance function.
-
Debtor chasing
-
Performing any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management to support the overall financial objectives of the organization.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable role.

Diploma in Accounts or equivalent.
-
Proficient in meeting deadlines and managing tasks effectively.
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-
Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel.
-
Knowledge of Sage software is considered an asset.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
