An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join a global Accounting & Advisory firm in Malta. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data with the collaboration of cross functional teams. The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role and hold a diploma in accounting. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Record financial transactions and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Updating bank accounts and prepare supplier payments.
  • Liaising with banks and other third parties as may be required.
  • Perform Debtor and Creditor Reconciliations.
  • Posting of invoices.
  • Assist team in preparing monthly bank reconciliations, if required.
  • Analyze and address any accounting issues.
  • Propose improvements to enhance accounting workflows.
  • Issuing reports and managing queries from company personnel
  • Support the day to day running of the finance function.
  • Debtor chasing
  • Performing any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management to support the overall financial objectives of the organization.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable role.
  • Diploma in Accounts or equivalent.
  • Proficient in meeting deadlines and managing tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Sage software is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
