GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established international insurance group who are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their expanding team in Limassol. This is a newly created role, offering an excellent opportunity to gain full exposure to all areas of financial management within a reputable and dynamic organisation.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Group CFO and Finance Controller in all aspects of financial management across multiple entities.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements using Sun Accounts.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, liaising with auditors, actuaries, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and Solvency II reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to financial control, risk management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Prepare and review financial performance, KPI, and risk reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory and tax returns (ORSA, QRTs, SFCR, IPT, Corporation Tax, VAT).
  • Contribute to systems and process improvements across finance operations.
  • Collaborate with the credit control team to monitor aged debts and enhance cash flow management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 1–3 years’ experience in finance, ideally within the insurance or audit sector with an insurance portfolio.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II and insurance regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sun Accounts is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.
