A Cyprus Investment Firm are working with GRS to recruit a Financial Accountant in Nicosia. The successful candidate should have experience in a financial services firm and be ACCA qualified or working towards it. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the daily preparation of client money calculations and reconciliations of all regulated entities across the Group.

Assist with the quarterly regulatory reporting of all regulated entities across the Group.

Manage and review the monthly outsourced reporting process of the regulated entities across the Group as well as review of quarterly VAT returns for the Cyprus entities that are VAT registered.

Assist with the monthly budgeting process and cash flow projections.

Assist with the day-to-day activities of the finance team as well as the monthly/quarterly and yearly end processes (including audit and regulatory audit procedures).

Assist with the monthly payment of corporate and other expenses.

Communicate with the banks for mandatory due diligence procedures and for any other matters concerning the bank accounts of Group entities.

Communicate and coordinate with other Group offices concerning finance tasks and matters.

Any ad hoc projects and/or tasks as assigned by the management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Degree holder in a Finance related field

ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards it is advantageous
-
Previous proven experience and knowledge in a similar role with a financial services company.

Fluent English
