Our client, a fun and lively Digital Marketing agency in Malta is looking for a Financial Controller to support the financial goals of the business by ensuring effectiveness of accounting activities. A key element of the role is to be able to delve down into the individual product offerings of the business and report accurately on the performance and conduct financial reporting and management of internal controls. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Maltese and be a fully qualified Accountant who is happy to work remotely. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Proficient in using accounting software to create spreadsheets and reports

Draft summary reports concerning key issues upper executives need to review

Present accounting issues and results to executive committees and upper management

Generation of the Monthly management accounts for several Entities within the Group, in line with statutory requirements

Budgeting and forecasting

Processing of all relevant documentation relevant for statutory audits

Where necessary, assist the Group Management with the consolidation of accounts
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Fully qualified Accountant
-
Fluent in Maltese and English
-
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
