Our client, a leading international service provider for the gaming industry in Malta is now due to continued growth seeking a Fraud and Risk Agent to join their team in Malta. Reporting to the Risk Team Lead you will identify, analyse, and mitigate potential fraud and risks within the company. For this role we are seeking an individual with at least 1 years’ experience in payments and risk and a good understanding of payment procedures.  If you feel you have the right experience and skills for this role, GRS looks forward to receiving your CV for this Malta-based Fraud and Risk Agent Role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analysing, preparing, and performing risk evaluations to prevent payment disputes
  • Identifying fraudulent transactions and activity such as account takeover, bonus abuse, friendly fraud, theft, and similar risks and preventing them from further processing
  • Conducting daily client transaction monitoring
  • Communicating with clients about fraud issues, providing advice about fraud prevention, mitigation, and reduction measures
  • Compiling and handling daily reports and account reviews
  • Performing risk assessments of new and/or current players throughout their customer journey as generated by the current Risk framework and performing EDD when appropriate
  • Determining existing fraud trends by analysing accounts and transaction patterns
  • Ensuring that all tasks performed are in line with the set processes and procedures related to AML and KYC flows
  • Assisting Customer Support with escalated queries related to Risk and Payment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a payments/risk department
  • Excellent understanding of the brands and the payment flows/procedures
  • Expert MS Office or Google Suite knowledge
  • Good understanding of business flows.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure
  • Able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • MUST already be in Malta with valid working visa
