On behalf of our client specialising in wealth and fund management in Limassol, GRS Recruitment are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our client’s family office team. This role will be responsible for the accurate accounting, valuation, and reporting of their investment funds and portfolio holdings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience with alternative investments, and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-touch environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate financial records for investment portfolios, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and direct investments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance reports for internal and external parties when requested
- Reconcile cash and investment positions across multiple custodians, independent fund managers and banks
- Process capital calls and distributions (subscriptions and redemptions)
- Calculate NAV and investment performance metrics
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules for all investment entities
- Assist with tax reporting requirements when required
- Monitor and track management fees, carried interest, and other fund expenses
- Implement and maintain internal controls over financial reporting processes
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
