A boutique Wealth/Fund Management company is searching for a Fund Administrator & Accountant to join their team in Malta. The ideal candidate will, ideally have 3 years’ experience in a similar role and have education in Finance. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparation and review of Fund NAVs, and assistance with any client queries
  • Maintenance of the Share Register of the Funds, as well as reviewing of incoming subscription and redemption applications
  • Maintenance of Shareholder Due Diligence files
  • Liaison with external service providers (investment managers/advisors, auditors, custodians, payment banks)
  • Assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements and year end audit queries
  • Preparation of other regulatory reporting
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • In possession of a University degree in Accountancy or Banking & Finance, or have attained the ACCA
  • Qualification (or in the final stages of doing so)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in fund administration.
  • Able to work accurately and in accordance to tight deadlines
  • Takes initiative and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word and Excel
