As our client's team is expanding, they are seeking to recruit a General Manager in Limassol to develop and implement strategic plans achieving company goals and drive growth. The General Manager reports and is accountable to the Managing Director of Columbus Travel. With vast experience and expertise in managing the specific needs of the marine and corporate industry, the Columbus Travel team member of Columbia Group, is ideally positioned to address customers’ requirements and offer unparalleled flexibility and speed of service while securing the best available fares. Headquartered in Malta, Columbus Travel has branches in Cyprus, Italy, Manila, and India. Their team of over 30 marine and corporate travel specialists is known for their exceptional customer service and dedication to quality. Their goal is to continue expanding and developing a strong presence in major hubs around the world, allowing them to service clients in any region. They pride themselves on strong local empowerment, which enables them to swiftly address and resolve any client issues. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implementing the agreed company strategy to improve the overall business function.
  • Setting goals for the teams based on the strategic planning.
  • Ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and drive growth.
  • Ensuring financial targets are met while optimizing resources.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A degree in business, tourism, hospitality, or related field.
  • Previous experience in the travel industry of minimum 5 years in progressively responsible roles, including leadership and/or management positions;
  • Experience in managing large teams, operational processes, and financial responsibilities.
