A diversified organization is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a dynamic Group Chief Information Officer to lead the organization’s IT strategy and operations in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, with extensive experience in D365, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Group CIO will be responsible for ensuring IT stability and security while driving innovation and adapting to the evolving needs of the company.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Shape and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with overarching business objectives. Provide forward-thinking leadership to champion technological innovation and drive the digital evolution of the enterprise.

Take full responsibility for the management of day-to-day IT functions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of all technology infrastructure and systems.

Leverage deep expertise in D365 to refine and enhance enterprise processes across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Project Operations, CRM, and Governance functions.

Lead the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, positioning the company as a leading example of AI-driven transformation.

Promote an agile and innovative IT environment. Enable the team to rapidly respond to business shifts with creative, scalable solutions that support ongoing growth and adaptability.

Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer to maintain robust security practices and ensure enterprise-wide compliance with relevant regulations. Establish and uphold frameworks to safeguard corporate data and digital assets.

Manage relationships with external IT partners, service providers, and consultants. Work in close collaboration with Procurement to negotiate favourable contracts and maintain high standards of service delivery.

Oversee the IT department’s budget with a focus on maximizing value and aligning expenditures with strategic goals. Ensure efficient resource allocation and cost control.

Inspire, lead, and mentor the IT team to build a high-performing, collaborative culture cantered around business enablement and customer-centricity. Equip team members with the skills and tools needed to meet evolving technology demands.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Extensive experience as a CIO within a global organization operating across multiple international locations.

In-depth working knowledge of D365 and related enterprise systems.

Strong command of IT operations, system architecture, and cybersecurity best practices.
