An international product distribution company utilising innovative technology, and forward-thinking services, are working with GRS to recruit a Group Financial Controller for their Limassol offices. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years industry accounting experience in a leadership position. In this role you will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively leading and managing the accounting and financial procedures of the group. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure streamlined accounting principles and chart of accounts working with IFRS and local accounting principles

Preparation of stand-alone and consolidated management account

Lead the implementation and integration of new financial systems

Maintain accurate financial statements and reports
-
Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies, changing or drafting new SOP where appropriate.

Effectively maintain all financial records
-
Lead communication with auditors and advisors
-
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax filings in all jurisdictions
-
Actively engage in the group’s tax planning process and ongoing review
-
Lead the Group cashflow management process and reporting
-
Build and maintain financial and executive reporting
-
Support the Group forecasting and budgeting process
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-
ACCA or ICAEW qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in accounting
-
Good understanding of IFRS
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
-
Experience in working with multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency accounts
-
Strong IT and analytical skills, knowledge of working with different ERP systems, excel and databases
-
Strong communication and leadership skills
