The successful candidate will be responsible for financial control, financial planning and analysis, investing activities, and financing activities. This position involves monitoring actual results vs. targets/budgets, advising the CEO and executive-level Management, and managing finance operations, data analysis, reporting, and budgeting as well as having knowledge of day-to-day financial operations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with various departments to formulate the company’s budget.

Monitor budget performance and recommend actionable plans to improve results, including implementing cost-reduction strategies.

Provide innovative solutions and recommendations to lower expenses and enhance financial performance.

Prepare and present monthly consolidated financial statements, reporting on the overall performance of the group.

Oversee the capital request, budgeting processes, and related reporting activities.

Compile and analyze data to create detailed reports on financial status and risks.

Contribute to the development of financial and tax strategies and plans.

Manage the financial planning and analysis process, reporting key metrics to management on a monthly basis or as required.

Prepare and evaluate financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and projections, aligning with the company’s goals and financial position.

Conduct business studies on past, present, and future performance, and develop predictive financial models.

Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure sufficient funding for operations and projects, managing both local and foreign currency accounts and obligations.

Perform financial assessments and due diligence on counterparties and banks.

Monitor revenue-generating departments' targets and KPIs, addressing any deficiencies as needed.

Collaborate with various departments in the development of new products and services.

Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting teams.

Advise on long-term business and financial planning.

Report financial results to senior management.

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Ensure financial information adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Maintain relationships with external auditors, addressing their findings and implementing recommendations.

Manage and maintain relationships with banks.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Educated to Bachelor degree level or the equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
-
Master and/or Professional Qualification in the accountancy field
-
Extensive accounting/finance experience
-
Deep knowledge in IFRSs
-
Experience in financial intermediary firms
