On behalf of our client, a gaming company based in Malta, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Head of Affiliates. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the affiliate strategy, leading both the development of key partner relationships and the performance of the affiliate team. The primary focus will be on driving revenue growth through effective affiliate marketing, while also mentoring and managing a team of affiliate account managers to deliver on KPIs. You will build and nurture strong partnerships, identify opportunities for growth, and work cross-functionally to maximise the value of our affiliate network. As a senior leader within the team, you will be instrumental in setting direction, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistent performance and innovation across the function.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and mentor the Affiliate team, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure KPIs and targets are consistently achieved.
  • Oversee the management of Affiliate accounts across the team, ensuring high standards of service, alignment with KPIs, and ongoing performance optimisation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Affiliates, understanding their needs and clearly communicating the value of our products and promotions.
  • Develop and drive strategies to grow Affiliate marketing activity and expand our global network, focusing on acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new high-value Affiliate partnerships through market research and competitive analysis.
  • Keep abreast of Affiliate marketing trends, tools, and best practices, sharing insights and opportunities with the team to drive innovation and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the design and content teams to ensure delivery of engaging and conversion focused marketing materials for Affiliates.
  • Analyse and report on Affiliate performance and campaign ROI, providing strategic insights to improve outcomes and maximise investment.
  • Oversee Affiliate payments, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance, while monitoring closely for any fraudulent or abusive activity.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement seasonal or targeted promotional campaigns in alignment with the broader marketing strategy.
  • Create and approve regular Affiliate communications, including newsletters, promotional  updates, product launches, and brand news.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., CRM, Product, Legal, Data) to ensure seamless alignment across Affiliate initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are considered a strong asset.
  • Significant experience in the iGaming industry, with a strong understanding of the sports betting vertical, sports betting brokerage background is a plus.
  • Proven experience in affiliate marketing and people management, ideally in a senior or team lead role.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with strong proficiency in Excel/GSheets, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Commercially driven, with a consistent track record of exceeding performance targets and delivering measurable business results.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • High attention to detail, with a structured and strategic mindset.
  • Familiarity with web, analytics, and marketing tools for campaign management, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales and CRM tools for managing affiliate relationships and streamlining communications.
  • Experience in affiliate tracking platforms/softwares for managing tracking, performance and payments.
