GRS Recruitment are working with an international brokerage based in Limassol and are looking to hire a Head of Business Development focusing on the Asian team and growing the Asian market (Fluent in English). The ideal candidate will report directly to and coordinate with the Global Head of Business Development and CEO. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve aggressive expansion goals across Asia.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with Country Managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead the expansion of our network of Country Managers/Master IBs, employing a cost-effective and efficient approach that considers both local and regional strategies.
  • Implement a robust KPI system to measure performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with high-value clients, Introducing Brokers (IBs), and institutional players.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Business Development to define and achieve ambitious business development targets.
  • Monitor and analyze global and regional industry trends, benchmark competitor activities, and provide data-driven insights for continuous strategic refinement.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to managed departments and teams to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Represent the company at key industry events and trade fairs, partnering with the Marketing department.
  • Work closely with the Compliance department to ensure all business development activities adhere to local regulatory requirements in all target markets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to adapt global marketing strategies for regional success.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrably successful experience in a senior sales or business development role within the FX industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth in international markets (experience with futures and options products a strong advantage).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to foster strong relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Highly analytical and organized with the ability to handle complex situations and prioritize effectively.
  • College or University degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, or International Relations.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Positive and results-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexible to travel.
