This role is ideal for candidates with a robust background in Payments, particularly those familiar with the intricacies of the Forex and Fintech sectors. The successful candidate will oversee global payment operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with industry regulations and will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee global payment operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with industry regulations.

Lead the Payment Solutions, Payment Integration, and Payment Optimisation teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

Develop and implement the company’s payment strategy, driving continuous improvement in acceptance rates, cost efficiency, and processing times.

Evaluate, onboard, and manage global payment service providers (PSPs), banking partners, and alternative payment solutions.

Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and SLAs with payment providers to secure competitive pricing and service levels.

Monitor provider performance, ensuring high transaction success rates, optimised settlement processes, and timely issue resolution.

Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to integrate new payment solutions and enhance existing systems.

Drive automation and optimisation initiatives to improve transaction processing and minimise manual interventions.

Work closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure full adherence to AML, PSD2, and other regulatory requirements.

Develop fraud prevention strategies, monitor suspicious transaction patterns, and implement chargeback/dispute resolution processes.

Coordinate with Finance, Compliance, Risk, BackOffice, and Customer Support teams to streamline payment workflows.

Provide data-driven insights and reports to senior management on payment performance, market trends, and risk exposure.

Support expansion into new markets by ensuring payment capabilities align with local regulations and customer expectations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Extensive knowledge of global payment infrastructures, PSPs, acquiring and issuing processes, banking relationships, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Proven expertise in payment integrations, API connectivity, and payment platform architecture, with a track record of leading system enhancements and automation initiatives.

Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain high-impact partnerships.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret payment data, identify trends, and drive continuous performance improvements.

Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Strong understanding of AML, PSD2, chargeback regulations, and global financial crime compliance requirements.

Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)
