A start-up real estate development company with offices in Cyprus is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a dynamic and results-driven Head of Commerce for their Limassol based operations. The successful candidate will be leading all commercial activities, including sales, marketing, and market positioning. This role is critical to establishing the company’s presence, driving revenue growth, and launching projects from the ground up.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Core Functions
  • Revenue Generation & Profitability – Drive revenue growth and maximize profitability across development projects.
  • Market Strategy & Execution – Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with the company’s vision and Cyprus market opportunities.
  • Sales & Marketing Leadership – Launch sales operations, lead the marketing strategy, and establish a strong market presence from day one.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention – Build sales funnels, CRM processes, and long-term customer engagement programs.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis – Monitor trends, competitors, and demand to optimize positioning and identify new opportunities
Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy covering sales, marketing, and customer relations.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, threats, and opportunities specific to Cyprus.
  • Oversee pricing, forecasting, and KPI tracking to ensure commercial success.
  • Build brand presence through a professional website, marketing materials, and targeted campaigns.
Sales Leadership
  • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring conversion from lead to deal closure.
  • Manage client negotiations and secure favorable terms.
  • Build relationships with agents, brokers, and key stakeholders in the Cyprus property market.
Marketing Leadership
  • Launch integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Oversee the creation of brochures, digital content, and project branding.
  • Manage marketing budgets and track ROI of campaigns.
  • Ensure the company is present at industry events and builds strong PR visibility.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Implement CRM systems to track leads and customer engagement.
  • Establish feedback loops to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Create retention programs to drive referrals and repeat buyers.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Align commercial strategies with development and construction teams.
  • Report regularly to CEO on commercial progress and market conditions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven track record in Cyprus real estate market, with deep understanding of local regulations, customer base, and sales dynamics.
  • Experience in launching sales operations from scratch: branding, website, marketing campaigns, and establishing sales channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in sales, marketing, and strategic planning for residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
