A very well-established forex brand based in Limassol is currently looking for a Head of Finance to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of finance experience and experience in financial intermediary firms.  If you want to join an international company, then we look forward to receiving your CV for this Limassol based Head of Finance role.     
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in formulating the Company's Budget in coordination with the CFO and different departments and present the Budget to executive-level Management
  • Monitor and recommend on action plans to enhance Actual to Budget results and communicate and implement procedures that reduce costs
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes and reporting
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  • Participate in developing financial and tax strategies and plans in coordination with the CFO
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis process and report key figures to the CFO and executive-level Management on a monthly basis or as needed
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
  • Monitor Cash balances and Cash forecasts to ensure adequate funding of operations and projects (Local and Foreign Currency Cash/Bank Accounts vs. Local and Foreign Currency Obligations to Clients/Suppliers) in coordination with the CFO
  • Complete Counterparties and Banks Financial Assessments and Due Diligences
  • Review Incentive Computations 
  • Monitor Targets/KPIs of revenue generating functions and highlight and address deficiencies and shortcomings as and when needed
  • Evaluate and assess profitability and business activities of existing products and services and address deficiencies with the concerned departments (Sales, Dealing, Middle Office, Risk, and executive-level Management)
  • Revise Annual Statutory Financial Statements and report to the CFO on findings
  • Maintain proper banking relationships
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor degree in business administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Masters and/or CFA Certification is a plus
  • 7- 8 years of finance experience
  • Good commend of International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Experience in financial intermediary firms
  • Microsoft Office skills with very high proficiency in MS Excel
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to gather and dissect financial data
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
  • Strong financial modeling experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to comfortably interact with executive-level Management
