A global media company supporting a charitable cause are working with GRS to recruit a Head of Investment for their newly established Cyprus offices. The successful candidate will have solid experience in raising venture capital from HNWI and family offices. You will be responsible for the efforts, results, and success of the organisation's investment department. This an exciting opportunity to join a campaign driving change on a global scale. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Raise equity and three-year debt finance for the core campaign in its first year and for its expansion in future years.

Raise equity and debt for the regional expansion of the campaign into India, Africa, MENA, and European countries.

Represent the entrepreneurial brand with a strong understand of the organisation’s values and products.

Manage the relationships with existing and prospective private and corporate investors.

Attend regular meetings with key prospective and existing investors.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Educated to university degree level.

Previous experience in raising venture capital from HNWI and family offices

A track record of raising debt from multiple sources including corporations, private banks, family offices or HNWIs.

Knowledge and experience of the Venture Capital, startup and technology industries.

Experience in research, analysis and presentations on industries, companies and strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiasm and flexibility to work across many differing sectors and across time zones.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work across multiple projects concurrently.

Good at networking and socialising opportunities widely, both internally and externally.
