GRS Recruitment are representing an international Forex company who are searching for a Head of Platform to lead and manage the Platform Support Team. The successful candidate will manage the trading platform, from installing, monitoring platform performance, and providing 1st line support to issues reported by internal users or clients.   • Define team roles and plans
  • Set team KPI’s
  • Train platform support team
  • Put in place training material for platform support team
  • Create knowledge base for platform support
  • Install and configure MT4/MT5 servers, backup server and Access points
  • Perform periodic MT4/MT5 updates
  • Coordinate with infrastructure team to perform operating system level and other software updates
  • Document workflows, processes and procedures that need to be followed and apply Policies
  • Monitor and maintain all MT4/MT5 Servers and associated products
  • Manage MT5 Gateways
  • Manage MT4 plugins
  • Generate reports from MT4/MT5 platforms
  • Provide cross department assistance and ensure all tickets are answered in
  • timely fashion
  • Involve in trading platform related projects
  • Support PXM and One Zero technology
  • Day to day monitoring of  MT4/MT5 platforms and other trading applications
  • Manage and ensure seamless operation of MT4/MT5 platforms and other
1st  Level support
  • Investigate and resolve various incidents relating to trading systems as L1
  • Report system bugs to L2 support
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables.
  • Hands on experience of the financial markets beneficial, good mathematical ability a must.
  • Hands on experience on MT4/MT5  admin and manager.
  • Hands on experience and knowledge working with primexm and one zero
  • Robust personality; ability to manage pressure and a flexible, amicable personality.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; a second language is useful.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure efficiently
  • Strong    IT background
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN
  • Good knowledge of security/firewalls rules
