We are partnering with a leading livestreaming technology platform in Limassol to recruit a Head of Quality Assurance. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced QA professional to lead a growing team, oversee the quality of large-scale live-streaming products, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. As Head of QA, you will be responsible for defining QA strategy, managing the local QA team, and ensuring products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to uphold quality across all aspects of the platform.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with organisational goals.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of QA professionals, fostering growth and high performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and standards.

Define and enforce QA processes and best practices across the organisation.

Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.

Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects or product releases.

Review test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Identify opportunities for test automation and implement suitable frameworks and tools.

Keep abreast of emerging QA technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal QA policies.

Support internal and external audits related to QA processes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand quality expectations.

Communicate QA updates, risks, and issues effectively to senior management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
4+ years of experience in Automation QA and 2+ years in backend testing, including API testing.

Technical expertise in Kotlin, Java, Objective C/Swift, or C++.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern development tools such as GIT.

Strong understanding of test frameworks, automation infrastructure, and QA processes.

Familiar with people management: team motivation, growth, and conflict resolution.

Highly organized, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects and deliver results.

Excellent communication skills in English; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Positive, creative, and solutions-focused mindset; able to identify and manage risks.
