A global and long-standing investments company with offices in Cyprus is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Head of Tax for their Nicosia based team.
The ideal candidate will be expected to build the business through solid knowledge in tax structuring and identify opportunities by using the tax legislation of various countries to find mutual business opportunities with Cyprus or Dubai and other jurisdictions. Our client maintains fully fledged offices in Cyprus, Dubai and London and while the position is based in Nicosia periodical travelling to other business jurisdictions may be required. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Identifying complexities and issues in target market countries

Developing viable and profitable solutions, whilst bringing this to the knowledge of the stakeholders to develop relationships and attract business

A track record of producing, spearheading, and managing the implementation of successful business development plans.

Secure ongoing business development with new overseas partners in the corporate advisory area such as law and tax firms, to explore and research the needs for new products or applications with a strong drive to develop and grow the business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field

ACCA/ACA/CPA Qualified professional
-
Excellent knowledge of Cyprus and broad knowledge of International Tax Law and Tax Treaties

At least 5 - 7 years of experience in a Senior Managerial role within the Corporate/Commercial sector

Proven track record in business growth

Networking prowess and ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Strong personality with the ability to take initiative and identify solutions

Strong leadership skills

Fluency in Greek and English
