DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and deliver GSD’s transformation strategy, ensuring clear alignment with corporate objectives and operational priorities.
  • Lead the Transformation Management Office (TMO), establishing robust governance, reporting frameworks and executive decision-making structures.
  • Oversee risks, issues, dependencies and benefits realisation to enable informed executive oversight and accountability.
  • Drive the successful execution of major transformation programmes, ensuring delivery to scope, time, quality and business value expectations.
  • Lead end-to-end process redesign and support the development of the Target Operating Model to enable sustainable performance improvement.
  • Strengthen operational performance through data driven insights, KPI frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver digital initiatives, system modernisation and technology-enabled transformation.
  • Promote data quality, reporting integrity and decision support analytics across transformation workstreams.
  • Lead organisational change by promoting new ways of working, fostering cultural alignment and ensuring stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Ensure communications, change strategies and capability building programmes support successful adoption.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or a recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACCA.
  • A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, or a related field) is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications in project and transformation delivery will be considered an asset.
Skills
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to develop robust business cases, manage large transformation budgets, and deliver sustainable efficiency and cost improvements.
  • Expertise in process optimisation and operating model design, including end-to-end process mapping, standardisation and continuous improvement.
  • Highly analytical, able to translate complex data into actionable insights, measurable outcomes and informed strategic decisions.
  • Strong digital and systems literacy, with experience across ERP/CRM platforms, systems integration, automation technologies and data-enabled transformation.
  • Strategic leadership capability, aligning digital and transformation initiatives with broader organisational objectives and operational priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and change leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, manage resistance, and embed lasting cultural and behavioural change.
Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in transformation leadership and/or PMO leadership, including governance design, portfolio oversight, and strategic programme execution.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Management, with demonstrable responsibility for financial governance, performance management, and process and cost optimisation.
  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, or operational environments is strongly preferred, particularly where digital enablement or operational optimisation has been a core focus.
  • Demonstrated delivery of measurable operational improvements through process redesign, digital implementation, automation, or systems transformation initiatives.
