For this role GRS are seeking an individual with at least 5 years’ relevant experience within the Maritime and Aviation sectors along with strong knowledge of maritime regulations, standards, and industry best practices. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with the accounting and debt collection of the company

Assisting with accounting and filing of the Company client files, as well as in client
-
relations
-
Assisting with the registration of vessels or aircraft
-
Serve as the main client point of contact for all operational matters within client portfolio
-
Assist with routine and especially challenging client requests
-
Manage client day-to-day operations including but not limited to banking, accounting,
-
crew and payroll, local and foreign VAT reporting, as well as other ad hoc requests
-
Assist with client internal / external compliance requirements
-
Liaising with authorities for the purposes of registration, customs importation.

Lead and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Works closely with the Director, Marine & Aviation to ensure the quality of client services and adherence to their requirements in compliance with the relative laws

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

Keeping abreast of developments in Seamen’s legislation, maritime and aviation
-
legislation and other relevant laws to ensure that the company complies with the respective regulations for the jurisdictions in which we operate
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Accounting or
-
Legal, or a related field.

At least 5 years relevant experience in an organisation active in the Maritime and
-
Aviation sectors
-
Extensive experience in the yachting industry, with a proven track record in a senior
-
management role.

Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

Experience in sales, purchase, and registrations within the yachting sector.

Strong team-player with experience of working in a dynamic organisation

Hands-on and with attention to detail.

Ability to deal with change and to take initiative

Exceptional leadership and people management skills.

Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
