An international Private Equity is looking for an experienced HR Associate to join their team in Malta. You will manage the HR function for the Malta office with assistance and guidance from the global HR team.  The role will include building a culture and HR administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR and have 2 to 3 years’ experience in a HR Executive role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Point of contact for local employees
  • Dealing with the day-to-day HR administrative work
  • Inputting employment data into the company database
  • Maintenance of employee records (soft and hard copies)
  • Preparing onboarding of new employees (IT, accounts, business cards etc.)
  • Organizing, and coordinating the training of employees and keeping training log sheets updated with any certificates pertaining to employee training records globally
  • Buillding and instilling company culture
  • Preparing data for payroll
  • Managing employee exit procedures for leavers
  • Helping to facilitate the move to a new HR software tool
  • HR-Reporting & Benchmarking globally
  • Supporting the Global HR team in project work
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in HR Management, business, law, humanities, social sciences or comparable education
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a HR Executive role
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking and candidate management systems
  • Quick comprehension, high motivation and commitment
  • Structured and independent working method, strong organisational skills
  • Results-oriented personality, highly developed sense of responsibility and strong teamwork
  • Fluent in English, further language skills welcome
  • Excellent MS-office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Willing to travel
