On behalf of our client, a global Medical Consultancy company which provides Air Ambulance services GRS is looking for a HR Operations Manager in Malta to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for the management of the HR Operations & all human resources activities for existing projects and new projects within the assigned regions. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor in HR and have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Mentor Senior Operations staff in adherence to Company's HR Policies and SOP's.
  • Assume overall responsibility for the HR filing system.
  • Take ownership of company HR Policies and Procedures together with the Corporate HR department and partake in assuring that the procedures in question remain applicable, improved and relevant in line with changes that happen from time to time
  • Highlight gaps in the HR processes and lead the identification and implementation of any in country
  • Work Instructions in line within country regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Monitor the team regarding recruitment, creation of talent pools and sourcing of required operations related positions.
  • Liaising with clients, Project and Regional Managers regarding the mobilisation of staff members.
  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building.
  • Recruiting, onboarding and coaching operations related staff for present and future needs of the company.
  • Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
  • Training, counselling, and coaching HR Operations team members.
  • Lead any departmental investigation involving HR related matters and implement HOD approved corrective actions.
  • Ensure the organisation and execution of Onboarding / Offboarding duties and forms. 
  • Review company HR policies and procedures to ensure up to date and legally relevant as well as operationally efficient and liaise with Head of SHRM as required.
  • Act as HOD/departmental representative when delegated.
  • Be a reference point for departmental/section actions and decisions.
  • Handle emergencies
  • Create regular reports indicating trends and usage for HOD.
  • Ensure efficient performance, engagement and quality of service delivery by HR Operations team to all sites.
  • Ensure engagement and fair treatment of all Operations staff.
  • Participate in all HR, Quality and HSSE initiatives.
  • Ensure the proper collation and interpretation of HR related metrics.
  • Prepare HR related reports on regular basis for senior Management as directed from time to time.
  • Any other responsibility commensurate with competencies, skills and experience.
  • Adhere to all company HSSE policies and initiatives and proactively promote a HSSE environment
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor in HR or relevant field from a recognised academic or industry body such as CIPD
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with operations related HR, general management
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels.
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Able to work under pressure, in a team and on his/her own initiative.
  • Able to make quick decisions under pressure
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft suite
  • Able to work in ambiguous environment.
  • Able to respect deadlines and focused on delivering on time.
  • High proficiency in English, any additional languages will be an advantage
