GRS is working with a leading and well-established property development company in Limassol that is seeking an In-House Lawyer to join its Legal Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer with experience in property and corporate law who is looking to develop their career within a respected organisation. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will provide legal support across a broad range of real estate, corporate, immigration and commercial matters while working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, sale and purchase agreements, tenancy agreements and other legal documentation.
  • Provide legal advice and support on property, corporate, real estate, investment, immigration and compliance matters.
  • Manage corporate secretarial responsibilities, including maintaining company records, preparing correspondence and coordinating meetings.
  • Handle property transactions and support clients throughout the legal process.
  • Prepare and submit Cyprus immigration and permanent residency applications.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical legal guidance to internal departments.
  • Assist clients with company formations and corporate matters.
  • Support the opening of corporate and personal bank accounts in Cyprus and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, external advisors and government authorities.
  • Assist with employment-related legal matters and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Support the business in meeting regulatory and compliance obligations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in Law from a recognised university.
  • Qualified member of the Cyprus Bar Association (or eligible for admission).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience gained within a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Previous experience in property law and real estate transactions.
  • Experience handling Cyprus immigration and permanent residency applications would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong drafting and contract negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in compliance, GDPR or corporate law would be considered an advantage
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €30,000 - €36,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
  • 13th salary
  • Working hours of 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
