GRS Recruitment are seeking a qualified lawyer or legal professional to provide legal, administrative, and executive support to a private principal in Nicosia. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in legal practice, government, parliament, public administration, regulatory bodies, or similar environments. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, document review, correspondence, stakeholder communications, scheduling, travel arrangements, and general executive support. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review, draft, and analyse legal documents, agreements, legislation, policy papers, and correspondence.

Conduct legal, regulatory, and public policy research.

Prepare briefing notes, summaries, reports, presentations, and position papers.

Manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the principal.

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and diary management.

Arrange travel, accommodation, and related logistics.

Liaise with government ministries, departments, regulatory authorities, public sector bodies, external advisers, professional service providers, and other key stakeholders.

Monitor legislative, regulatory, and government policy developments relevant to the principal's interests.

Assist with government relations, including coordinating engagements with public officials and ensuring compliance with government protocols and administrative procedures.

Provide support on matters involving public administration, government processes, regulatory frameworks, and parliamentary or ministerial procedures where applicable.

Assist with administrative and organisational matters as required.

Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Law degree or legal qualification.
-
Previous experience as a lawyer, legal adviser, legal officer, parliamentary adviser, government official, or similar role.

Demonstrated experience working with government institutions, ministries, regulatory authorities, or public sector organisations, with a strong understanding of government structures, administrative processes, legislative procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

Knowledge of government protocols, public administration, and stakeholder engagement within the public sector is highly desirable.

Strong drafting and communication skills.

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

High level of discretion and professionalism.

Fluent English and Greek required; additional languages are an advantage.

Travel: Frequent travelling required (approximately 0–3 trips per month) to accompany the principal to meetings and events when necessary.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €45,000 - €50,000 Gross Per Annum.
