GRS Recruitment are working with a well-established Company in Nicosia who are searching to recruit an Internal Lawyer to join the team in Nicosia. For this role we are looking for a professional individual with at least 5 years of relevant experience. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparing, evaluating, and negotiating contracts, terms, conditions, and other legal documentation related to the Company’s operations, while offering legal counsel on any legal or contractual matters.
  • Managing communication and supervision of external law firms, particularly concerning case strategies, and seeking legal opinions and studies.
  • Handling and overseeing all corporate governance issues, including drafting resolutions for shareholders and the board of directors, amending M&A documents, managing registrations, and following up with the Registry of Companies.
  • Overseeing and providing guidance on legal proceedings before courts, regulatory bodies, and governmental agencies.
  • Delivering necessary legal information and advice on local and European laws and regulations.
  • Offering regulatory support and guidance to other company departments (Finance, IT, Commercial, Human Resources, etc.) as needed.
  • Supervising the implementation of the Privacy Policy framework and ensuring full compliance with Data Protection/GDPR regulations.
  • Providing general legal advice and assistance to ensure all business activities adhere to legal requirements and effectively mitigate risks.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Qualified with a law degree.
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in Commercial, Contractual, Data Protection, and Corporate Law.
  • Excellent use of Greek and English.
  • Ability to quickly grasp business requirements, foresee potential issues, and provide risk management recommendations.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.
