On behalf of our client, a private international investment group managing a diversified portfolio of financial assets, operating businesses, real estate and private investments across multiple jurisdictions, including the USA, Cyprus, the UAE and Europe, are seeking to recruit an Investment Portfolio & Private Assets Manager on a remote basis. A highly experienced, structured and analytical professional to take responsibility for structuring, monitoring and developing the investment portfolio, while supporting the owners with clear, independent and data-driven financial analysis. The ideal candidate will structure and oversee bank and market investments, provide financial control and consolidated reporting across all passive and operating assets. Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities whilst supporting owners in strategic decision-making through transparent analysis and clear recommendations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Structure and monitor portfolios including:
    • Equities
    • ETFs
    • Deposits
    • Alternative financial instruments
    • Develop and maintain asset allocation strategies considering:
    • Risk
    • Liquidity
    • Currency exposure
    • Monitor performance and market developments
    • Propose new investment ideas based on sound financial logic and risk analysis
    • Maintain structured documentation and reporting
    • Financial Control of Passive and Operating Investments
  • Operating Business — USA (Healthcare Sector):
    • Review financial statements and management reports
    • Analyse cash flow, profitability and KPIs
    • Understand corporate and tax structures at a high level
    • Identify financial risks and optimisation opportunities
  • Ship Ownership — Cyprus: 
    • Maintain and review financial models for ship ownership structures
    • Monitor operating costs, revenues and profitability
    • Review contracts and financial exposure
    • Analyse performance versus projections and market conditions
  • International Rental Property Portfolio (Cyprus, Dubai, Germany, USA): 
    • Consolidate financial data across jurisdictions
    • Prepare comparative analysis of:
    • Rental yields
    • Operating expenses
    • Net returns
    • Monitor cash flows and capital expenditures
    • Review performance of property management companies
    • Support optimisation, hold/refinance/exit decisions
  • Identification of New Investment Opportunities:
    • Source and screen:
    • Startup investments
    • Private equity / private debt opportunities
    • Co-investments and strategic partnerships
    • Conduct initial financial, structural and risk assessment
    • Review business models and financial projections
    • Prepare investment summaries, models and recommendations
    • Coordinate with external advisors when required (legal, tax, technical)
  • Reporting & Communication: 
    • Prepare consolidated portfolio reports for owners
    • Present structured investment analysis and scenarios
    • Support strategic discussions with fact-based insights
    • Ensure transparency across all asset classes and jurisdictions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field
  • 7–10+ years of experience in: investment management, family office or private investment structures, financial analysis and portfolio oversight
  • Strong experience with international, multi-jurisdictional assets is essential
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of: portfolio management principles, real estate economics, private investments and operating businesses
  • Advanced Excel / financial modelling tools
  • Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory)
