DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepares and present regular as well as ad-hoc reports to the management and other stakeholders
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the preparation of the financial records of the investment entities in respect of the investment transactions and the timely delivery of these to the accounts department
  • Liaison directly with investment advisors and respond to their ad–hoc queries
  • This position involves dealing with cash flow management in respect of investment transactions, mitigating foreign currency risk, and addressing other operational risks
  • Analysing data and in collaboration with the IT create models for the report
  • Ensure that the Investment software is running properly and liaise with IT team for any corrections or enhancements.  Being a liaison with the external IT service provider.
  • Being a power user of the BI tool for the preparation and maintenance of the various investment reports.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or business-related field is preferred
  • Member of a Professional Body
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in investment / accounting related job roles
  • Experience in investment operations, with a robust understanding of financial markets and financial instruments.
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite,
  • Good understanding of SQL language, knowledge of the SAP BI platform (SAC) and Bloomberg Terminal – would be considered as an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with small group of professionals.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
