The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience with IP Law. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with our studios and creative teams to identify new trademarks and copyright materials.

Manage the registration process for group trademarks in the EU, UK and other jurisdictions as needed, and prepare US trademark filings (for review and filing by US counsel).

Work with outside counsel to respond to any oppositions to our trademark applications.

Negotiate co-existence agreements where appropriate.

Register copyrights with the US Copyright Office.

Track and manage our response to any infringement of trademarks and copyrights, including takedown requests with app stores and websites, and managing litigation when necessary.

Assist in implementing industry best practices for identifying and protecting group trade secrets.

Prepare and present training to business managers on IP legal issues and topics.

Keep up to date with industry developments in IP and mobile gaming, attending relevant events.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

2 years or more experience with the IP team in a law firm or in-house legal team.

Able to set priorities and juggle multiple demands.

High degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness.

Great team player, dynamic, engaging and works proactively.

Qualified lawyer in Cyprus is highly advantageous.

Fluent in English.

Right to work in Cyprus.
