GRS Recruitment is partnering with a leading online trading provider to find an IT Support Engineer for their dynamic team. Headquartered in Melbourne, with offices in the UK, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Guatemala, the Philippines, and the Bahamas, our client is rapidly expanding and achieving significant success. The successful candidate will maintain networks, manage IT assets, and be the first point of contact for IT outages and cloud incidents. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with equivalent IT education, requiring excellent organizational skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and proficiency in English. Training is provided, and occasional meetings outside regular hours with global teams may be necessary.
  • Providing first level support during a system outage
  • Providing Desktop Support
  • Offering G-suite support
  • Providing desk phone and softphone support for different PBX providers
  • Addressing known issues with Mac OS
  • Offering support for Google Apps and Office365
  • Providing ChromeOS Desktop Support
  • Offering Remote Support
  • Troubleshooting Windows issues, desktop applications installation, and troubleshooting
  • Providing security support and troubleshooting
  • Detailed incident logging, tracking, and reporting on user tickets, overall ticket management using Jira Service Desk Help Ticketing Software
  • Providing 1st and 2nd Level support - troubleshooting IT-related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as Smartphones, Laptops, PCs, and Printers
  • Maintaining company hardware inventory
  • Participating in the staff onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and to document that learning
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing
  • Strong communicator
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and respond to multiple requests in an efficient manner
