A well-established Electronic Money Institution regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus with Head Offices in Cyprus are working with GRS to recruit an IT Support Officer to join their team in Larnaca.  The successful candidate must have previous experience as an IT Support Officer ideally within a Financial Services company and must have proven experience in end-user support and in working within a Windows Domain Infrastructure.  If you are looking for an opportunity to join a reputable company, we are looking forward to receiving your application for this Larnaca based IT Support Officer role.
  • Provide end-user support
  • Work within a Windows Domain Infrastructure
  • Be involved in virtualization technologies and concepts (Hyper-V, ESXi)
  • Execute all necessary actions related to the Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
  • Be responsible for enterprise-level Anti-Virus applications, web filtering, application control
  • Ensure user access rights are implemented correctly
  • Monitor server software and hardware
  • Install applications on servers/desktops as instructed by the management
  • Assist in performing system/hardware installations and repairs
  • Help in troubleshooting the network infrastructure including firewall, switches, voice and video communication
  • Handle the Intrusion Detection and Protection system
  • BS in computer Sciences / Computer engineering
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar field (preferably banking systems)
  • Knowledge of IIS Web Services and SSL Certificates
  • Knowledge of other web servers (Tomcat, Apache Web Server, JBOSS, Websphere etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in any programming languages (JAVA / J2EE, .NET Frameworks, JavaScript etc.) will be considered as an advantage
  • Previous experience in Linux and UNIX systems is a plus

  • Flexible working hours: Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16.00 or 09.00 – 17.00
