MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop high-quality software components for a suite of Web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

Contribute to all areas of the software development lifecycle including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.

Design, implement, and test new enhancements to the product suite.

Perform code reviews and peer testing.

Constantly evaluate and optimize software development, testing, and release practices to improve flexibility and agility.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science or related Engineering field.

Core competencies in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases.

Solid hands-on experience developing back-end solutions for Web applications.

Proficiency with scripting languages, especially Perl.
-
Experience writing unit tests and functional tests.

Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools.

Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills with a proven track record of supporting internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.

Front-end development experience with JavaScript frameworks, especially React.

Experience with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

General understanding of the financial services industry.
