DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting in the performance of audit engagements for local and international clients, under the supervision of senior staff

Preparation of audit working papers and audit files in Caseware
-
Carrying out audit testing across balance sheet and income statement areas
-
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Cap. 113
-
Assisting with the preparation of tax computations and tax returns
-
Liaising with clients to obtain audit documentation and information
-
Supporting the wider team with VAT, payroll and compliance matters as required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field
-
ACA/ACCA studies commenced, or a commitment to commence and complete the qualification
-
0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Basic understanding of IFRS and ISAs (training will be provided)

Computer literacy: good working knowledge of Word and Excel; knowledge of Caseware will be considered an advantage

Good analytical skills and attention to detail

Fluent in Greek and English

Willingness to learn, take initiative and work as part of a team

Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
