GRS Recruitment are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding FX brand in Limassol who are seeking to recruit a Junior Banking/Payments Officer to join our dynamic Banking and Payments team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in banking, Forex, casino, or PSP industries, along with a solid academic background in accounting, economics, or business. This role is responsible for processing payments, managing banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payment Processing:

Oversee daily payment transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers.

Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and on time.

Address and resolve any payment-related issues with clients or partners.
Banking Operations:

Assist in managing the company's banking relationships and accounts.

Perform reconciliations of banking and payment transactions.

Maintain accurate records of all banking activities in line with company policies.

Help identify and integrate new payment solutions to support business operations.
Compliance and Regulation:

Ensure all payment processes are compliant with local and international regulations.

Support the implementation of anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention protocols.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in payment systems.
Financial Support:

Assist the finance team with payment-related inquiries.

Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to payment operations.

Ensure all payment accounting entries are accurate and up to date.
Customer Support:
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, Forex, casino, or PSP companies.

Previous experience in payment processing and banking operations is highly desirable.

Proven track record in onboarding and integrating new payment solutions.
Skills:

Strong knowledge of payment systems and financial operations.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with AML and regulatory compliance procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and financial software.
