On behalf of our client, a leading insurance provider, GRS Recruitment are seeking a Junior Pension Claims Associate in Malta. The ideal candidate will reporting directly to the Claims Team Leader and with support of a Senior Claims Associate. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Insurance or Pensions and experience in Compliance. If you are looking to work in a dynamic setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a technical expertise in financial and tax regulations in key jurisdictions including Malta and Gibraltar having received in-depth training.
- Process retirement and other claims payments always ensuring compliance with the relevant Regulator’s requirements.
- Follow internal procedures relating to Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) by ensuring that client records are kept up to date and assisting with the collection of due diligence documentation.
- Be the first point of contact for all benefit queries received from Financial and Tax Advisers and Members from around the world, providing them with a very well supported service.
- Answer enquiries by telephone, email, and by post.
- Be involved in a range of projects and projects driven by Regulatory changes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience in insurance or pensions is preferred.
- Good understanding of compliance procedures within a financial or insurance setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
