MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and prepare detailed budgets for crewing operations.

Forecast OPEX performance and provide budget variance analysis.

Work closely with other departments and Crewing operations team to ensure alignment of budgetary objectives.

Monitor and control costs associated with crew management and operations.

Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

Regularly review expenditure against budget and recommend adjustments.

Conduct thorough reviews of OPEX / CAPEX accounts related to crewing operations.

Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions as necessary.

Prepare comprehensive reports for clients, detailing budgetary performance.

Maintain regular communication with external stakeholders and clients to provide updates and address queries.

Present reports to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Collaborate with internal teams, including Crewing Operations and Crew Accounts.

Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and contractors, to manage costs and improve efficiency.

Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System.

Ensuring that Crew management is carried out in compliance to the Management Agreements.

Implement best practices in budgeting, cost controlling and reporting.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures.

Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Solid years of experience in financial management, budgeting, or accounting within the maritime or crewing industry.

Proven experience in passenger & cruise vessels.
-
Good leadership skills.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
