A well standing construction company is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire an ETEK registered Land Surveyor in Limassol who will be responsible for conducting land and construction surveys, setting out project works, and ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role supports the accurate execution of construction projects by providing precise measurements, coordinates, and elevation data.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct site surveys and establish benchmarks, control points, and reference lines.
  • Carry out setting-out activities to ensure construction works are accurately positioned according to project drawings and specifications.
  • Perform topographical, boundary, and as-built surveys.
  • Measure and record distances, elevations, angles, and coordinate using surveying equipment.
  • Inspect, calibrate, maintain, safeguard and operate the company's surveying equipment.
  • Verify that construction works comply with approved drawings, plans, and project requirements.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and design drawings.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to support project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • ETEK Membership
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in a Land Surveyor role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, Levels and other surveying instruments.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and construction drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on site.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced construction environment.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €38,000 - €45,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
  • 13th and 14th salary
  • Provident Fund after probation (6 months)
  • Medical and life insurance after probation (6 months)
  • 21 days annual leave which increase based on years of employment

  • Working hours are 07:00-15:00 or 07:30-15:30 depending on the projects.
