A long-standing law firm with offices in Nicosia and Limassol are working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Lawyer for their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in Employment Law. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle Employment litigation cases
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of employment law, including but not limited to unlawful terminations, restructurings, employee benefits, redundancies, industrial relations and other non-litigious matters
  • Draft and review employment agreements, internal policies, handbooks and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant national and EU laws and regulations,
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations related to employment/industrial disputes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different legal teams to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients' employment-related needs
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs and workshops for clients, focusing on essential topics like anti-discrimination policies, harassment prevention, and labour law compliance amongst others
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in Law (LLB)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience following legal qualification, with a strong track record in employment law
  • Member of Cyprus Bar Association
  • Strong knowledge of local and EU employment laws and regulations and trends.
  • Fluent written and spoken Greek and English
  • Proficient using legal software and comfortable working with various applications such as Microsoft suite.
