MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Overseeing technology-oriented clients such as startups, e-commerce stores, IT firms, marketplaces, SaaS and PaaS providers, as well as conventional companies integrating technological solutions.
- Providing comprehensive legal assistance for daily operational issues, including matters related to regulations, corporate and commercial law, consumer protection, and data privacy.
- Creating and refining Terms and Conditions and offering guidance on matters concerning consumer protection laws.
- Handling GDPR compliance strategies, privacy audits, contract drafting, and the development of privacy policies aligned with GDPR and data protection regulations, participating in the provision of DPO services.
- Drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements including those related to goods, services, licensing, and end-users.
- Conducting legal research and implementing strategies in emerging fields like platforms, software, blockchain, AI, fintech, and technology transfer.
- Drafting and negotiating agreements related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), such as joint ownership and technology transfer agreements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Professional experience in the required fields, in a corporate environment, or Startup ecosystem, or in a Law Firm handling technology driven clients, will be considered as a plus.
- Fluency in English, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral, professional approach and commercial awareness.
- Business minded and with a business and pragmatic approach to contractual/ commercial matters.
- Personal interest and use of Technology and a good understanding of technology-related issues.
- Ability to work independently and perform research in ambiguous, emerging and rapidly evolving legal issues.
- Professional motivation, multi-tasking abilities, organization skills, analytical thinking, integrity and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work with and coordinate activities across multidisciplinary working groups with clients and partners, and effectively communicate the important legal aspects of the existing or envisaged business models to clients in a solutions-oriented manner.
- Time & Account Management Skills.
