The leader in residence and citizenship planning with more than 30 offices globally, are working with GRS to recruit a Legal Advisor to join their dynamic team in Limassol.  The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and must be able to draft, review and update agreements, policies and procedures.  If you are looking for an opportunity to join the market leader in residence and citizenship planning and to be part of a motivating and energetic team, we are looking forward to receiving your application for this Limassol based Legal Advisor role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Anticipate and identify legal issues and provide legal advice to management including developing and accessing alternative solutions to accomplish management's goals with less risk
  • Conduct legal research and analyze laws and regulations
  • Educate and train company’s staff about legal and compliance issues
  • Prepare written and verbal opinions of counsel, as needed
  • Draft, review and update agreements, policies and procedures and other documents designed to assure compliance with legal requirements within the company’s principles
  • Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to the group globally
  • To be able to negotiate and use conflict resolution where necessary
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree holder in law from an accredited university
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Legal advisor role
  • Experience in international law firm or a corporate/commercial department of an international organization
  • Proven experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and policies and extensive experience in researching and providing legal counsel regarding laws and regulation
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal is a must 
  • Desirable qualifications and experience:
  • Experience involving corporate compliance, including working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery/Corruption laws and regulations
