A global crane specialist with expertise in marine, offshore, port and shipyards, construction and industrial sector are working in partnership with GRS to recruit a Legal Advisor for their Limassol office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with an understanding of the maritime. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Draft / review of various legal documents.

Conduct Legal Research.

Provide legal advice on corporate and or commercial matters.

Liaise with other external lawyer as required.

The collection storage and retention of information in a systematic manner.

Handle disputes (e.g., Hire related disputes, demurrage disputes etc), participate in settlement negotiations under supervision from management and maintain an organised and diligent record of all active disputes.

Work in close collaboration with the company’s other departments
CANDIDATE PROFILE

University degree in Law (LLB). A postgraduate degree (LLM) with specialisation in Maritime Law or any other related field will be considered an advantage.

A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar in-house role or experience in a private practice law firm with specialisation in corporate law and ideally maritime law.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent command of the written and spoken English and Greek language.
