MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to maritime operations, including Management Agreements, repair contracts, vessel leases, and ship finance documents.

Communicating with the Group General Manager Insurance & Legal, Group General Manager Claims & Legal, Management, various law firms, auditors, advisors and other external parties;

Ensuring that the files of the Legal section are well kept and frequently updated;

Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;

Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;

Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement;
-
Undertaking special tasks and projects that might be assigned by the Top Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Law.
-
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a maritime lawyer is a MUST.

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
-
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
-
Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
-
Proficient use of English and Greek languages.
