They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer for their newly established team in Limassol. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be part of a team focused on ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards and requirements. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, 
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures to comply with legal and regulatory standards, 
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks, 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, 
  • Educate and train employees on compliance policies and procedures, 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate areas of compliance risk, 
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints, 
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies, 
  • Keep up to date with industry changes in laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly,
  • Manage and maintain records in accordance with the regulatory and company standards, Compliance Officer 
  • Propose and implement improvements to the compliance and/ or other related processes to minimize risks, 
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the direct manager and/or senior management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Solid years of experience as a Compliance Officer within the financial industry. 
  • Extensive knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards. 
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with international compliance standards will be considered as an advantage. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies in financial data.
